Vick Sentenced

Who was once one of the NFL’s most exciting players and one of the most game changing quarterbacks has been sentenced to 23 months in prison. Vick was sentenced on dog charges and one charge of marijuana use. I think it is pathetic in what happened to such a great athlete and football star. It is sick what he and the others involved in the fighting. I don’t know what comes over people to go kill dogs in such a way as electrocuting, drowning, hanging, and other inhumane for lack of performance. Dog fighting is cruel and immoral. I remember seeing a photo of a severely injured dog after a fight. His face was all torn and mangled, blood and open wounds covering his face. Dog fighters have no feeling for the animals, just the money. They act as if the dogs are tools used to kill for cash. I feel Vick deserves more than 23 months. Maybe 4 or 5 years. Just as a warning to professional athletes that they cant get away with everything.
